The Great Candy Run presented by Black Knight Financial Services, will cater to students from Jacksonville Beach Elementary working to complete 100 miles during the school year. A family favorite, the Great Candy Run is a race filled with fun, from its game board like course, costume contest, post-race expo, and the sweetest finish ever. The event is set for Atlantic Beach on September 27th.

Early Wednesday and Friday mornings, students ages 5-12 arrive at school early to run laps on the track. The goal is to reach 100 miles during the school year. Besides running the track, they also are allowed to count local area races as part of their mileage and The Great Candy Run is a student favorite.

An event full of energy and growth, this year’s event will host to more than 1,000 participants and spectators. The Great Candy Run offers a traditional 5K, including a competitive Stroller Division for those pushing little ones, the 1 Mile Kids Run, and its first ever Sweet Pete’s Tiny Tot Trot.

Proceeds from The Great Candy Run benefit the Fetal Health Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) that supports the research of treating and curing intrauterine fetal syndromes at fetal centers around the country. Since inception, the Foundation has worked as a liaison between families affected by various fetal syndromes and the medical teams providing care.
